Connect Help

This page is to help you get me connected to your PC. Please follow the instructions under the Connect Option below that you are told to use. Please read the instructions carefully.

Connect Option 1

Click Here >>> Download Team Viewer <<< Click Here

Click on "Download TeamViewer" above and run or open the file called TVQS.exe

NOTE: After running the file, your computer may present a User Account Control prompt asking if you want to allow the program to make changes to this computer. Click Yes to allow it to run and make changes. The notice requesting to allow may be behind another window so if you don't see it, look in your task bar to see if it there flashing indicating it needs attention.

NOTE: Each Browser handles downloads differently. Here are the instruction for each browser:

Internet Explorer: It will say: Run or Save TVQS.exe. Click Run.

Firefox: Click Save File, then in the top right corner click on the little down arrow in the top right corner of the browser to show the downloads. If you do not see the arrow, do CTRL-J to show them. Then double-click on tvqs.exe at the top of the download list. Then click on OK. Then watch for the prompt asking of you want to allow file to run and click on Run.

Chrome: The downloaded file will appear in the bottom left corner of Chrome. After the download completes double-click on tvqs.exe in the bottom left corner. Click Run when prompted.

Once the program opens you will see a blue & white program that says TeamViewer QuickSupport. It will give you ID and Password numbers. Please tell these numbers to Mark on the telephone. My phone number is 480-430-7780.

Note: You Must Leave Teamviewer Open.

Connect Option 2

Click Here >>> Download Client.exe <<< Click Here

Click on "Download Client.exe" above and run or open the file called client.exe

Connect Option 3

  1. Copy the text below in step 2 by highlighting it and hitting Control-C
  2. iexplore.exe –extoff sosstandbyserver.com/download/tvqs.exe
  3. Hold down the Windows Key (Between CTRL and ALT) and tap R
  4. In the RUN window that pops up click to put your cursor there.
  5. Now do a CTRL-V to paste in the text
  6. Click OK.
  7. When it asks if you want to RUN or SAVE the file, select RUN.

Connect Option 4

Connect Option 5

Click Here >>> Download GoToAssist <<< Click Here

Click on "Download GoToAssist" above and run or open the file called g2aconnect.exe

NOTE: After running the file, your computer may present a User Account Control prompt asking if you want to allow the program to make changes to this computer. Click Yes to allow it to run and make changes. The notice requesting to allow may be behind another window so if you don't see it, look in your task bar to see if it there flashing indicating it needs attention.

Firefox: Click Save File, then in the top right corner click on the little down arrow in the top right corner of the browser to show the downloads. If you do not see the arrow, do CTRL-J to show them. Then double-click on tvqs.exe at the top of the download list. Then click on OK. Then watch for the prompt asking of you want to allow file to run and click on Run.

Once you have completed these steps please advise Mark what the computer name is. You will see the computer name in the blue window that has opened. My phone number is 480-430-7780.

 

Connect Option 6 - FTP Client

  1. Hold down the Windows key (between CTRL and ALT) and hit the letter R
  2. A Run window will pop up. Click inside the run window and erase anything in the window if there is anything there.
  3. In the window, type CMD and click OK.
  4. A black command windows opens. Click one time anywhere inside the black command window.
  5. Inside the command window, Type cd \  and press enter  (the backslash is above the enter key on your keyboard.
  6. In all of the following commands pay attention to where spaces are. Without a space in the right place it will not work.
  7. Type mkdir   aaa  Press Enter
  8. Type cd   aaa  Press Enter
  9. Type:   ftp  sosstandbyserver.com -- and Press Enter

It should say:
Connected to sosstandbyserver.com
220 Welcome.
User (sosstandbyserver.com:none)):

  1. Type:  sosstandbyserver  -- and press enter
  2. At the password prompt type:    cnecne9910 (it will not show on the screen when you type it) and then press Enter
  3. If you get "Login Failed" then type quit and press enter and go back to step 9.
  4. Type the word:   binary -- and press Enter
  5. Type  cd   www  -- and press Enter
  6. Type  cd   download -- and press Enter
  7. Type  get  client.exe  -- and press Enter
  8. Wait until after it completes download.
  9. Type  quit  -- and press Enter
  10. Type client -- and press Enter
  11. Once you have successfully done these steps call me – Mark at: 480-430-7780

 

Connect Option 7 - FTP TVQS

  1. Hold down the Windows key (between CTRL and ALT) and hit the letter R
  2. A Run window will pop up. Click inside the run window and erase anything in the window if there is anything there.
  3. In the window, type CMD and click OK.
  4. A black command windows opens. Click one time anywhere inside the black command window.
